1.) Peekskill Schools Adopt $78.4 Million Budget

2.) Book Babies at The Field Library

The Field Library, located at 4 Nelson Ave. in Peekskill, is hosting book babies today at 11 a.m. Book babies is an interactive program for children up to the age 3 Â and their caregivers. Â There will be stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets and play time. No sign-up is necessary.
3.) Volunteer Appreciation Wednesdays at the Division Street Grill

4.)Â Sign Up for EMBARK's Spring Classes 2013
EMBARK, located on the first floor of the Energy Movement Center in Peekskill, is holding registration of its spring classes. EMBARK offers a number of classes including movement, ballet, jazz, acting for teens and playwriting. Find out more information here.
5.) Miss Ethnic Queen Pageant Information Session Scheduled Today
An information session is being held for the Just The Place’s annual Miss Ethnic Queen pageant Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. inside the Peekskill Youth Bureau. The pageant, which is coming to Westchester County for the first time this spring, has for levels of competition:  Little, for ages 4-7; Jr. Miss, for ages 8-12; Teen Miss, for ages 13-17; and Young Miss, for ages 18-21.  Participants will be judged on appearance, performance, evening wear, and personality.
