1. Visit Patch at the “Office”

4. Ash Wednesday

Yesterday was Mardi Gras, a time to be gluttonous, and today is Ash Wednesday, the day that starts the tradition of self-denial, prayer and penitence in the Christian religion. There are 40 days until Easter. Check our directory and search churches to find their websites and times to get ashes. 

5. Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

Restaurant week begins March 18 and lasts until March 31. Check out the local restaurants involved here.

The Birdsall House, Peekskill Brewery, Division Street Grill, Cortlandt Colonial and Woods at Hollow Brook Golf Club are the Peekskill and Cortlandt restaurants that are participating.
