Annual Turkey Run
When: 10 a.m. Saturday (registration and turkey weigh-in starts at 9:15 a.m.)
Where: Park Street to North Division Street in Peekskill
Why go? Hosted by the Quiet Man Pub, this is the second annual event of its kind. Organizers describe it as "a fun-run where frozen turkeys are donated to fill the freezers of CHOP (Caring for the Homeless of Peekskill)," a local organization aimed at eliminating hunger.
Artists in the Archives: A Collection of Card Catalogs (Exhibit Opening)
When: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday
Where: The Field Library at 4 Nelson Avenue in Peekskill
