Peekskill Arts Council Meeting, Lakeland Budget, Red Devils Game Postponed

1. Peekskill Arts Council Meeting
The PAC will hold an open meeting tonight at 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lower level meeting room. The PAC is encouraging all creative artists in all disciplines to attend.

The Peekskill boys basketball (No. 2) team was set to play No. 2 No. 11 Poughkeepsie at the County Center yesterday, but the game has been postponed until March 2 at 3 p.m. due to the snow.
3. Gospel Concert Explosion

The concert, to be held at Peekskill Middle School, will raise money for the second annual Juneteenth Celebration this summer. Find out the details .

5. Lakeland Board of Education Meeting
The Board of Education will hold a budget meeting/work session at  7 p.m. in the Administration Building. The Instructional, BOCES and Special Education budgets will be discussed at the meeting.

This is the third of four budget meetings to be held from January through April. The next budget meeting will be held on April 12th.

The next regular Board of Education meeting is a business meeting to be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Walter Panas High School, 300 Croton Avenue, Cortlandt Manor.
