Peekskill Firefighters Extinguish Small Fire at Super Stop & Shop

The fire, which ignited outside of the loading dock area, is still under investigation, according to Peekskill fire officials.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that ignited this afternoon outside the loading dock area of the Super Stop & Shop located inside the Beach Shopping Center.

The fire call came in just before 4 p.m. and took less than 5 minutes to extinguish, according to Bob Boddie, deputy chief of the Peekskill fire department

The cause of the fire is being investigated by Westchester County fire officials.
