Peekskill Man Doesn't Showing Up For Court, Gets Arrested: PD
Police said the man didn't appear in court to answer charges about driving without a license.

PEEKSKILL, NY — A northern Westchester resident was arrested after being accused of not showing up for a court appearance that was previously scheduled.
Leon Clement Jr., 40, of Peekskill, was charged Thursday with failing to appear, according to the Yorktown Police Department.
Authorities said the underlying charge was second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

On July 19, authorities said Clement didn't show for scheduled court appearance in the Yorktown Justice Court and a bench warrant was issued.
He turned himself in Thursday, police said, and was arrested.

After Clement was processed, he was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
He paid a fine in regards to the original charge and was not issued another court date.
