Verplanck Man Arrested in Peekskill for Coke Possession
Robert Casterella faces a felony drug possession charge after he was found in possession of coke during a traffic stop in Peekskill Monday.

A Verplanck man is due in Peekskill court next week after he was allegedly caught with cocaine during a traffic stop on Route 9, near Louisa Street, Monday.
Troopers arrested Robert Casterella, 58, of Verplanck, and charged him with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony. The arrest was made at about 9:15 p.m. after police stopped Casterella on Route 9.
Robert Casterella was arraigned and sent to Westchester County Jail with bail set at $5,000. He is due back in city court on Dec. 3.
Casterella faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
