Peekskill Schools Pick New Bus Company, GOP to Pick Local Candidates, 'Girls' Crew Stops by Gleasons

1.)Â Peekskill School Board Picks a New Transportation Company
The Peekskill school board awarded a bid to the Montauk Student Transport to handle student, athletic and special education transportation next year. The district expects to save more than $166,000 in transportation budget next year, in part, because of the new contract.

According to Gleason's Facebook page, crew members from the hit HBO show "Girls" stopped by for a bite to eat. The crew has been shooting at location around Westchester County and Rockland, according to a report posted by Newsday.

The Peekskill Republican Committee is expected to pick its candidates for this November's election tonight. Candidate Frank Catalina has already announced his interest in being nominated as the GOPs mayoral candidate this year.
