A 26-year-old Peekskill woman is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, following a traffic stop on North Division Street, according to authorities.
Peekskill Police Officer C. Woodland "was on routine patrol when he spotted a vehicle pass a steady red light at the intersection of Union Avenue and South Street," officials said in a statement.
When Woodland pulled over the woman and requested documents, she "appeared confused." She is accused of failing several field sobriety tests.
The defendant was held for arraignment pending a future court appearance.
