Police: 20-Year Old Woman Steals Jewelry Worth $3,000

Woman Pawns Jewelry, Charged with Grand Larceny

On Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 8:56 p.m. Kayla Berlow, 20, of Hollowbrook Court W., Cortlandt Manor, was arrested by county Police Officer Rob Kelly on a charge of Grand Larceny 3rd degree, a felony. Berlow is accused of taking pieces of jewelry valued in access of $3,000 from a residence that she had visited on multiple occasions and selling them to a local pawn shop. Westchester County Police were called after the homeowner returned from vacation and discovered that four rings were missing from her home. Berlow was located at a residence in Peekskill after a follow-up investigation by Kelly and placed under arrest there.

Suspicious Activity at Scenic Circle

On Friday, Feb. 10 at 4:46 p.m. a Westchester County police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Scenic Circle. The vehicle was gone upon an officer’s arrival.

Man Arrested for Failure to Pay Child Support

On Friday, Feb. 10 at   6 p.m. a Westchester County Police Officer Rob Kelly arrested Miguel Reyes, 36, of 3195 E. Main St. on a warrant issued by Westchester County Family Court. Kelly had been assisting the county police Warrant-Fugitive Unit in trying to locate, Reyes, who was wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to pay child support. Reyes had provided the court with false addresses in an attempt to avoid arrest on the warrant. Kelly developed information that Reyes was staying with a relative in Mohegan Lake and arrested him there. He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail pending an appearance in Family Court.

Police Find Late Night Visitors at Panas

Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11:50 p.m. a Westchester County police officer checking the grounds at on Croton Avenue found a gathering of multiple persons and vehicles in one of the parking lots.  The group was directed to leave the property and not return.
