Police: 26-Year-Old Verplanck Man Found with Heroin, Marijunana
The New York State Police arrested him after stopping him for allegedly driving while under the influence of drug.

The New York State Police at Cortlandt arrested a 26-year-old Verplanck man who is alleged to have been in possession of heroin and marijuana on April 3 around 2:15 p.m. During a vehicle and traffic stop on Westchester Avenue in Buchanan, police found James Bernstein allegedly operating a vehicle while under the influence of drugs. He was also found to be in possession of heroin and marijuana, according to the police report. Bernstein was issued several appearance tickets and uniform traffic tickets returnable to the Village of Buchanan Court on April 17 at 2 p.m.
