Shop Cortlandt Soon, Egg Dying, Peekskill Principal Survey

1. Egg Dying at Field Library

The is hosting a free egg dying for children ages 3 and up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Contact the library to sign up in advance.

2. Shop Cortlandt April 20-29

This year’s Shop Cortlandt event will take place April 20 through April 29. To participate you can pick up a bag at Cortlandt Town Hall, or various other locations starting April 13. See the flyer (PDF) attached to this article for more information.

3. Peekskill School District Principal Survey

The school district is asking residents to complete this survey about the qualities the next principal should have.

4. Rev. Carlye Hughes Leaves St. Peters

Rev. Hughs resigned as rector of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Peekskill and has taken a job in her hometown as rector of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Texas. Read more in the Star Telegram here.

5. Breakfast with the Bunny Saturday

will hold its annual Breakfast With the Bunny at the neighborhood 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Children 10 and under and their parents can meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy a pancake breakfast. Raffles and giveaways are included. Seating is limited, so register early at the parks office. Registration will not be accepted at the door. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
