Boil Water Notice Lifted; No Drink Advisory Still in Effect for Hudson View

Westchester County health officials lifted a boil water alert in the area of Pemart Avenue in Peekskill. But residents in Hudson View Estates are still being advised not to drink the water until test results come in.

 Good news first.

Residents who live on Pemart Avenue, from Marion Street to the dead end, and all residents who live on Catherine Street and Lakeview Drive are no longer being advised to boil their tap water.

Unfortunately, Hudson View Estate residents are still being advised not to drink the water until the results of second round sampling come in.

Heather McGill, a spokeswoman for the Westchester County Department of Health, said those results are expected to come in sometime tomorrow.

Health officials are testing for the presence of the AFFF foam used in the March 21 fire at the Hudson View Estates.
