One of those projects calls for the bonding of  $70,000 to rehab Welcher Avenue from Lower South Street to Washington Avenue. The work calls for milling, asphalt resurfacing, curb repair and new road marking. A PDF detailing the project is attached to this story.

“I urge the Board of Legislators to give prompt attention to these proposals,” Astorino said in statement. “These projects are essential investments in our parks, roads, bridges, buildings and other infrastructure. Beyond that, the projects will create an estimated 240 jobs for our trade unions.”
