The do not drink water advisory that was issued by the Westchester County Department of Health for residents of Hudson View Estates in the City of Peekskill has been lifted.
Test results of water samples taken by the Health Department were satisfactory.On Saturday evening, March 23, residents of Hudson View Estates were strongly advised not to use water for drinking or to prepare food as a precaution due to possible contamination by fire fighting foam chemicals which may have made their way into the buildings water service lines.
