Pelham Manor Votes: Hear From The Candidates In Their Own Words

A Candidates Forum for two seats on the Village of Pelham Manor Board of Trustees will be held on Wednesday.

PELHAM MANOR, NY — Village elections are coming up, but there's still time to learn about the candidates vying for elected office.

There may be no better way to educate yourself as a voter than to hear straight from the horse's mouth and thanks to the League of Women voters, you can accomplish this in person or watch from home.

A Candidates Forum for two seats on the Village of Pelham Manor Board of Trustees will take place on Wednesday, March 13 at Pelham Manor Village Hall, located at 4 Penfield Place. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the forum will begin at 7:30 p.m.The forum will also be transmitted live on FIOS (Channel 46) and Optimum (Channel 75).

The League of Women Voters of New Rochelle is hosting the event and will provide a league-based moderator from outside the area.

The two trustees, Breda Bennett and Maurice Owen-Michaane, are running on the Republican and Neighborhood party lines. The two challengers, Kate Pringle and Mark Cardwell, are running on the Democratic and Manor Together party lines.
