Pelham Schools Announces Commended Students

11 Pelham Memorial High School students were recognized as Commended Students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program.

PELHAM, NY - Pelham Memorial High School's George Asokumar, Julia Doucette, Erika Dudek, Enea Dushaj, Kieran Heese, Alexa Letizia, Amanpreet Singh, Dario Sujica, Owen Swanson, Jillian Vinci and Larkin Wisdom have been recognized as Commended Students in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. These students placed among the top 5 percent of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2017 competition by taking part in the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
