PMHS Names Athletes Of The Week

From PMHS: Seniors Chas DelGrosso, Emma Johnston, George McNenney and Dan Dempsey, junior Mateo Rivera, sophomore Peyton Rees and freshman Joshua Timmermans were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. Rees, Rivera, Johnston, McNenney and Dempsey each had strong performances at the track team’s quad meet against Rye, Rye Country Day and Eastchester. Rees won the shot put while Rivera and Emma Johnston won the 200 meter and 3,000 meter runs respectively. McNenney and Dempsey tied for first in the high jump, with each leaping 6 feet, which was a personal best for McNenney. Timmermans has had a strong performance for the rowing team and stroked in the novice 8 in the Mercer County Regatta. Del Grosso had an outstanding week for the baseball team, notching 4 hits with 2 doubles and 4 RBI.
