Holy Trinity Scoreboard Honors Alum
Bobby Lazos, a former football player and 2008 graduate of the Hicksville school, died in 2012.
Holy Trinity High School honored a former student-athlete by dedicating the stadium scoreboard in his name.
The somber ceremony took place before Saturday's CHSFL football opener against rival St. Anthony's. A crowd of about 1,000, along with players on both sides of the field, stood at attention as the scoreboard was named in honor of Bobby Lazos.
Lazos, a 2008 graduate of the Hicksville school, played football and lacrosse for the Titans. He died in a car crash March 16, 2012.
