Light Snow Thursday in Plainview as Forecasters Track Potential End of Weekend Storm
March may be planning to come in like a lion.

Long Island will likely get a coating of snow Thursday morning into the early afternoon, the National Weather Service says.
If any snow accumulates, it shouldn’t total more than half an inch. The best chance for any measurable snow will be along the coast and the East End, the NWS says.
Dry conditions are expected from Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, but as seems to be the recent trend, there’s a decent chance of snow on Sunday night into Monday.
