Plainview Man Opens Soundview Cinemas in Port Washington
A new option available now for area movie goers.
Plainview's Jordan Desner's opening night came Friday, when his new Soundview Cinemas opened at the Soundview Market Place in Port Washington.
Desner's opening weekend including these films.
- “The Big Wedding,” starring Amanda Seyfried, Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Robin Williams and Topher Grace
- “Pain & Gain,” starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Anthony Mackie and Ed Harris
- “Oz the Great and Powerful,” starring Mila Kunis, James Franco, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz, and Abigail Spencer
- “Spring Breakers,” starring Selena Gomez, James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Benson and Heather Morris
- “Olympus Has Fallen,” starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman, Dylan McDermott, Aaron Eckhart and Ashley Judd
- “Admission,” starring Paul Rudd, Michael Sheen, Tina Fey, Wallace Shawn and Sonya Walger
Ticket prices begin at $9 for matinees; $12 for evening performances for adults, $9 for children. There is an additional $3 charge for 3D movies.
The theater is completely renovated, featuring new leather rocker seats, six digital screens, two 3D theaters, and a new concession stand.
