Dragonfly Cares

We’re Dragonfly Cares, a group of providers offering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech-Language Therapy across Long Island. Our goal is to support children as well as the caregivers around them, while emphasizing community engagement and transparency. Our goal from the start has been to create a supportive network and uplifting environment for the families and therapists we work with. No more one-size fits all models, we provide more and always will. Each group is led by a BCBA and includes 1:1 support from a trained behavior technician. Groups are thoughtfully formed based on each child’s individual needs and skill sets. It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to build social skills, communication, and more—all in a fun and supportive environment! Long Island Swim School

Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. Our goal driven and technique oriented approach is the key to your child's success. Through skill based quality teaching our students develop a joy for learning and a passion for swimming. At Long Island Swim School, we teach children to swim the same way the best in the world do. By using age-appropriate, proven techniques children build real skills in kick, pull, body position, and breath control. Our logical, consistent progression turns every fundamental—whether blowing bubbles or learning butterfly timing—into a building block for efficient, confident swimming. Our professional staff are swimmers and coaches with the knowledge to give your child the skills to achieve more than just water safety. We provide the best foundation possible for success. Not every child will dream of Olympic glory, but every child should have the foundation to take them there. PLAINVIEW, NY — Nassau police have released the name of the woman who died in the first of two <a href="https://patch.com/new-york/gardencity/woman-dies-after-motorcycle-collides-van-nassau-police">fatal</a> crashes in Nassau on Friday. The woman has been identified as 26-year-old Anna Crego of Brentwood, police said Saturday night. Police said Crego was behind the wheel of a 2007 white Infinity traveling Northbound on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway near Exit 10 in Plainview when it collided with a white 2017 CRV Infinity driven by a 68-year- old woman, according to police. Both drivers were taken by police ambulances to a local hospital, police said. The 26-year-old was seriously injured and was pronounced dead by a hospital physician, police said, adding that the 68-year-old woman sustained minor injuries and is currently in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing, police said.A second woman died after her motorcycle collided with a van in Garden City at around 5 p.m.
