1 Dead, 2 Injured In Sprain Brook Parkway Crash
The driver of a BMW apparently lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic, police said.
MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — A three-car crash Tuesday on the Sprain Brook Parkway north of Bradhurst Avenue in Westchester County killed one person and injured two others.
New York State police said the driver who died was apparently headed north on the Sprain Brook Parkway when he lost control of a 2002 BMW 330I. The BMW crossed into the southbound lanes, struck a 2016 Jeep Patriot, and was then struck by a southbound 2018 Nissan Versa.
The driver of the BMW was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The operators of the Jeep and Nissan were both transported to local area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Traffic was backed up on the parkway as two lanes were closed during accident investigation and cleanup.
Police did not immediately identify the drivers or the time of the crash.
