12/2 is Opening Day: Weekly, Winter Market (rain, shine, or brrrrr!)

Pleasantville Farmers Market is open Saturdays, 9:30am - 12:00pm

Saturday the Market kicks off its 4th outdoor winter season, and 12th winter as a weekly, year-round venue for shoppers to stay connected with the producers they love. After all, since we eat weekly, and shop weekly, it only makes sense the Market is open weekly.

The Market was able to never close during Covid by moving outdoors to Memorial Plaza for the winter, only to find (surprisingly) that customer attendance grew -- it seems we all like more space, under a wide open sky when shopping from market vendors. All our vendors offer their full line of products for walk up purchases December through March. A few vendors also have set up their own methods for shoppers to be able to preorder products if they wish. That information is listed below:

Alpacatrax is in on 12/9 with skeins of wool and finished items made with wool from the farm's alpaca herd. SallyeAnder has joined us this winter, visiting on 12/9 and 12/23 with beautiful soaps that make great gifts. Tree Juice Maple Syrup will come on 12/16 with their diverse line of giftable maple syrups (they're next in in March). Living Edge Designs visits 12/16 for last minute shoppers of flight, carving, or cutting boards (they have beautiful bread peals as well). In December Himalayan Delish (weather permitting) will continue to offer Momo dumplings (frozen to go, or hot to eat) and their early morning, market-sourced egg sandwiches too. We have a great line up of weekly and rotational vendors who are eager to keep providing you the foods you love all winter. See you at the Market!
