2-Year-Old In Car As Driver Arrested On Felony DWI Charge On Taconic: NYSP
The Brooklyn man was found to have a BAC of 0.16 percent, after being arrested in Mount Pleasant, according to New York State troopers.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — A Brooklyn man was arrested in Mount Pleasant for potentially putting the life of a child at risk, according to state police.
On Thursday, around 10:03 p.m., New York State Police said that troopers from Hawthorne stopped a Volvo traveling north on the Taconic State Parkway, in the town of Mount Pleasant.
While speaking with the driver, 43-year-old Justin V. Ebersole, of Brooklyn, the troopers noticed signs of intoxication, according to police. He was administered field sobriety tests, which he failed, according to NYSP.

The troopers found that a two-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Ebersole was arrested and taken for processing, where his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was found to be 0.16 percent, police said.

State police said the child was turned over to a sober party.
Ebersole was charged with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, and traffic violations.
He was issued traffic tickets and released, with an appearance scheduled in the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on August 14.
