Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Woman Hit by Own Car; Mailbox Smashing
The following is from the police department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from July 8 — 14, 2013.
Sunday, July 14
7:12 a.m. — Police received a report of a deceased cat in the roadway on Pleasantville Road. Officers moved the cat to the side of the road.
Saturday, July 13
12:30 p.m. — Police received a report of a lost cell phone at a South Highland Avenue carwash. The phone was later found.
10:30 a.m. — Police responded to the scene of a one-car accident in a North State Road parking lot. Police said a woman fell out of her vehicle in the parking lot and was struck by the car as it rolled down the hill. The woman reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Friday, July 12
11:37 a.m. — A Sleepy Hollow Road resident reported a fence had been vandalized with graffiti overnight.
Tuesday, July 9
12:21 p.m. — A Law Road resident reported the residence's mailbox had been knocked down sometime overnight.
6:47 a.m. — Police responded to the scene of a two-car accident on Pleasantville Road. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Monday, July 8
9:40 p.m. — A Juniper Place resident reported spotting a vehicle traveling through the neighborhood with its passengers smashing mailboxes. Police were unable to locate the vehicle and said at least four mailboxes had been smashed.
11:45 a.m. — A Briarcliff Manor resident reported a dispute with a Stamford, CT, business he had worked with involving checks. Police advised the resident the matter was civil and should be addressed in Stamford.
