Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Rollover on Taconic; CO Alarm

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from Jan. 21 to 27, 2013.
Sunday, Jan. 27
7:37 a.m. — Westchester County Police notified the BMPD of a rollover accident with injuries in the southbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway.

Saturday, Jan. 26
1:24 a.m. — Police performed a DWI arrest. Read more here.

Friday, Jan. 25
1:42 p.m. — An Apple Lane resident reported coming home and hearing the residence's carbon monoxide alarm going off. The Fire Department was dispatched to the residence. Fire responders reported the alarm appeared to be malfunctioning.
Thursday, Jan. 24
6:50 a.m. — A man reported hitting a parked car on Mulberry Road. He told police he had some chest pain, but planned to drive home before seeking medical attention.
Tuesday, Jan. 22
2:47 p.m. — Police dispatched the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department to a Gordon Avenue address after an odor of gas was reported Police said the condition was corrected.
12:11 p.m. — A resident notified police that his car was damaged after he parked on Pleasantville Road. He said when he pulled his car into the space, it struck the curb due to a sinking storm drain. Police filed a report and placed a cone in the space to prevent future drivers from parking in the spot.
Monday, Jan. 21
9:35 a.m. — Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 9 and reported its registration had been suspected three times on two occasions, most recently on July 18, 2012. The driver, a 16-year-old Valley Cottage male, was arrested and processed at police headquarters. He was released on $100 bail and is due in village court on February 13.
