Briarcliff Manor Police Blotter: Unidentified Noise; Truck Hits Branch

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Briarcliff Manor Police Department from Jan. 14 to 22, 2013.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

9:10 a.m. — Police responded to the scene of a minor two-vehicle accident in front of Briarcliff High School, on Pleasantville Road. No one was injured.

Monday, Jan. 14

7:26 p.m. — Residents in the area of Ridgecrest Rad reported missionaries going door-to-door. Police advised the group it was not a good time to be knocking on doors.

7:15 p.m. — Police received a report of unidentified noise on Hickory Road. Responding officers were unable to locate the source of the reported noise.

12:14 p.m. — A box truck driver reported hitting a low branch while driving on Old Briarcliff Road, causing minor damage to the vehicle. Police filed a report.
