Briarcliff Manor’s Kindergartners Enjoy a Day of Firsts as School Begins
Briarcliff Manor kindergarten students attended their first day of school, September 7.
Incoming kindergarten students enjoyed a day filled with first-time experiences on September 7.
Students met their classmates and teachers and engaged in activities to prepare for a year of learning at Todd Elementary School. The day’s activities ranged from drawing their first pictures of the school year in Leslie Newman’s class to an introduction to mathematics through fun counting exercises in Jeanne Smith’s classroom.

Kindergartners in Alyson Tully’s class completed self-portraits and Bonnie Seligson’s students created their own calendars for the month of September.
While the activities varied throughout the day, giving each student a unique first day to remember, the excitement and eagerness to learn was palpable in each kindergarten classroom.
