The Village of Briarcliff Manor is continuing its upgrades at the Youth Center this spring.
"The building is being painted and the exterior is being refurbished," said Village Manager Philip Zegarelli.
Previously, the building was only accessible through the side entrance by the basketball court due to plants and trees that had overgrown, he added.
Those plants have recently been removed to make room for "a more accessible ramp to the main entrance."
An outline for a walkway adjacent to the building is also in the works. This path will eventually lead to the "grassy lawn area" behind the building, Zegarelli said.
Other changes include the repair of the fence, possible changes to the grassy area to accommodate a nature walk and general beautification efforts.
"It's moving along well," Zegarelli said. "I think it's a great improvement."
