Bronx Woman Charged with DWI in Mount Pleasant

New York State Police allege the driver "failed due care" for a stopped emergency vehicle.

A 54-year-old Bronx woman faces a DWI charge in the Town of Mount Pleasant  following her arrest on the Taconic State Parkway yesterday, New York State Police announced today.

Christine P. Floriano-Hatsko was stopped while heading south on the Taconic near mile marker 6.9, according to police, "due to failing due care for a stopped emergency vehicle and driving across hazard markings."

She was arrested and processed at the New York State Police Hawthorne barracks, where she reportedly "provided a breath sample of .10."

Floriano-Hatsko was later released with a returnable ticket to Town of Mount Pleasant Court on May 30.
