Chanukah is celebrated this year beginning the evening of Dec. 18 through the evening of Dec. 26.
"Chanukah is the holiday where light triumphed over darkness," said Rabbi Dovid Labkowski, co-director at Chabad; "Lighting the Menorah is a reminder to us to illuminate this world by increasing in random acts of goodness and kindness and spreading to the people around us."
Balloon artist “Katie Balloons” will be building on site the tallest balloon shamash, and children will get a chance to blow up a balloon to add to it.

Festivities begin at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Briarcliff Pavillion.1 Law Park, Briarcliff Manor. The event is free and open to the public.
