Clear View School Clinical Director Appointed To County Role

As clinical director of the Clear View School & Day Treatment Center, Dr. Elaine Haagen has spent most of her professional life working with children who have serious emotional, social and behavioral challenges. In addition to providing psychiatric services, the doctor oversees the organization’s clinical program and works closely with the special education staff to fully integrate academic and therapeutic services for each student.

When asked about her recent appointment, Dr. Haagen replied, “It is exciting to work with such experienced and dedicated mental health leaders in Westchester County to help formulate plans for future mental health services needs of many communities in the County.”

Children’s Mental Health Services in Westchester County are among the finest in the nation, with a wide array of innovative practices and evidence-based treatments. By partnering with families and family-run organizations, the county sustains a “system of care” which not only gives children access to a variety of services, but also ensures that these services are coordinated and individualized to meet a child and family’s needs.
