Con Ed to Service Mount Pleasant Electrical System

Supervisor Joan Maybury has shared a list of streets where Con Edison will be working.

Con Edison is continuing its work on repairing the overhead electrical system in the Town of Mount Pleasant, Supervisor Joan Maybury said in a community memo Wednesday.

"Some areas may have disruptions in their power supply while this work is being performed," Maybury wrote.

The affected areas include: Dogwood Lane and Pierce Drive, Commerce and Montieth streets, Westchester Avenue, Bainbridge Avenue, Pearl Street, Elwood Avenue, Fort Washington, Linwood, Jefferson and Pritchard, Sherman and Circular Street, Grasslands and Bradhurst, Bradhurst and Thomas Place, Linda Avenue and Union Avenue, Commerce Street and Stevens, Frankfort and Stevens, Kensico and Warren, Lexington and Manhattan.

She added, "In addition, in the next few weeks, Department of Environmental Protection crews will be working in the vicinity of Nannyhagen Road and King Street to clear storm debris remaining from Hurricane Sandy."
