Cops: Turtle, Trees on Route 9A
A look at some of the recent incidents investigated by Westchester County Police in the Town of Ossining.

Large Turtle on 9A
Westchester County Police received a report that a large turtle was in the middle of southbound Route 9A near Cedar Lane on Monday, June 10 at 10:45 a.m. An officer removed the turtle to a safe area off the roadway.
Two Trees Down
Police responded to Route 9A south of Route 134 after two large trees came down on to the roadway on June 10 at 6:13 p.m, blocking both southbound lanes and one northbound lane. County officers were able to clear the northbound lane. The state DOT was called to remove the trees from the southbound lanes.
