DOT Schedules Lane Closures On 2 Westchester Parkways
The closures are to facilitate bridge work, weather permitting.
PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Road work this weekend will cause lane closures along a couple of Westchester parkways.
The New York State Department of Transportation said Friday that Westchester County motorists should expect single and double lane closure along the Sprain Brook parkway and Taconic State Parkway between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday.
These closures are to facilitate bridge work at the following locations, weather permitting:

- Northbound and southbound Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100B in the town of Greenburgh and Taconic State Parkway in the town of Mount Pleasant.
- Northbound and southbound Taconic State Parkway, between Exit 2 (Route 141) in the town of Mount Pleasant and Exit 13 (Underhill Avenue) in the town of Yorktown.
Motorists are urges to slow down and drive responsibility in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Two or more convictions of speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of a driver's license.
