Dozens Without Power in Hawthorne
Town Supervisor Joan Maybury reports a utility pole has been knocked down.
More than 100 homes are reportedly without power in Hawthorne today, according to an update from Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor Joan Maybury.
"A utility pole on the Chelsea Bridge in Hawthorne has been knocked down by a vehicle," she wrote. "No injuries are reported but there are approximately 115 homes without power."
The Chelsea Bridge remains closed while Con Edison attends to the damage.
