Community Corner
Every week you can help us make a delicious difference!
Pleasantville Farmers Market is open Saturdays, 9:30am - 12:00pm

As a community-based service, we’re so proud to have been awarded the honor of “Best of Westchester” in recent years by voters in Westchester Magazine’s annual contest. This feedback is an indication that we’re fulfilling our mission to our community, farmers and food artisans. And the attention it garners attracts new shoppers to the Market, which benefits our producers!
Now the 2024 “Best of Westchester” first round voting is open. Please take a minute to VOTE TODAY in two "best" categories: “Farmers Market” and “Produce”. The magazine's format to vote has some initial steps (sign in with an email, then register, and then input a confirmation code) -- please stick with it to get your votes in!
The contest requires participants fill in an entry for at least five categories -- please vote for all local, small restaurants and businesses that have earned your loyalty in the past year.

GREAT WEATHER
& FULL MARKET!
After a fall that challenged shoppers and producers with eight Saturdays in a row of rain, December has been very kind so far! Saturday's forecast is for a dry, partly sunny day, with moderate temperatures and low wind -- our favorite winter season combo! As a venue we seek to create a connection for shoppers to regional farmers and the food artisans sourcing them, and this run of nice weather only makes our mission (and your shopping) easier!
All our vendors offer their full line of products for walk up purchases December through March. A few vendors also have set up their own methods for shoppers to be able to preorder products if they wish. That information is listed below:
Produce
Maple View Farm's new preorder system is open Tuesday, 7pm thru Thursday, 7pm. Shoppers can browse and preorder from all the farm's offerings. To begin click https://www.mapleviewfarmny.com/shop. Their system ensures you can reserve what you need, including on winter Saturdays below freezing when the farm can rely on sheltering preorders in their heated van. This week the weather will allow for both a display for walk up purchases and Maple View's preorder pick up.
