PLEASANTVILLE, NY — Following a road rage incident at 8:19 p.m. Aug. 1, a village resident reported he had been threatened with a handgun, Pleasantville police said.
The incident occurred near Bedford Road and Cooley Street. The caller provided a description of the vehicle and a direction of travel.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle minutes later on Paulding Street, police said.

The driver was placed under arrest and a firearm was recovered from the vehicle, police said. The Carmel resident was charged with second-degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor.
