There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week that affect Pleasantville and Briarcliff.
Monday

- Pleasantville Board of Trustees, work session and business meeting. 6 p.m., Village Hall.
Tuesday
- Indian Point Decommissioning forum, 6 p.m. Cortlandt Town Hall. The state Department of Public Service will host a public forum with a panel from the NRC, EPA, and relevant New York agencies. You may register to attend in person or virtually until noon Monday.
- Mount Pleasant Town Board, 7 p.m., Town Hall
- Ossining Town Board, 7:30 p.m., Municipal Building
