Memorial Day Weekend Harvest Market!
Pleasantville Farmers Market is open Saturday, 8:30am - 1:00pm

Here we go! So much is happening now at Pleasantville Farmers Market. We reopen this Saturday, May 25, at Memorial Plaza to kick off the summer season. Himalayan Delish will be making Market-sourced egg sandwiches and the freshest Momo dumplings all morning - eat yours at seating in the Village gazebo or shaded Music Series area. We have a super exciting vendor roster including returning Wright's Farm (pies! jams! cider donuts!) and new Mimomex Farm (fresh produce from Orange County, NY) -- this completes our 2024 roster of regional farms. The growing season has gained momentum so you'll see first strawberries! asparagus! rhubarb! crisp spring greens, fresh eggs, and more! Our farmers and food artisans have plenty of ingredients and treats to help you create memorable meals this holiday weekend too.
And Market's popular events programming begin Saturday with a Market Sprouts kids event (Marco the Magician -- 1st performance at the market since 2019!), a Music Series performance (Doug Munro & Albert Rivera!), and our Community Tent Sponsor is in (Patty Anker & The A Team). Details about this week's events are listed further below.

Lead Sponsor Northwell Health Tip:
"Eating rhubarb, which is an Anthocyanin-rich plant, provides your body with chemicals that work to get rid of cell damage. Rhubarb boasts anti-inflammatory properties and is linked with cancer protection, improved cognitive function and heart-health". Brought to you by Northern Westchester and Phelps, your local Northwell hospitals.
Hilly Acres Farm is seeking a local person to hire for Saturday work at their booth, asap. Interested? If so please email hillyacresfarm97@gmail.com.
Red Barn Bakery is too! To learn more email randell.dodge@gmail.com.
The Market has been selling its orange, reusable handled bags for years, but shoppers have asked for mesh bags too. The Market now (finally!) offers high-quality, machine washable mesh bags, made with 100% recycled material. Avoid ordering mesh bags online (requiring individual packing material and a delivery truck using fossil fuels) by purchasing yours at the Manger's Tent -- better for the environment! Overall, we hope these bags can prove convenient for our customers and lessen the use of roll bags at our produce vendors' booths.

SATURDAY 6/1:
CHANGES TO
PLAZA PARKING LOT
Please note these important logistical changes for June:
- The Memorial Plaza slip lane will be permanently closed on 5/28 (after this Saturday).
- Northbound traffic seeking to go east on Manville Road will use the newly constructed right-land turn lane at the signalized intersection of Manville Road & Memorial Plaza Road (shown in image above).
- Inside Memorial Plaza's parking lot, north egress to Manville Road has been replaced with a three point turnaround (shown in image, highlighted in light purple).
- The north end of the Memorial Plaza parking lot now permits traffic in both directions to the curb cut at the mid-lot curb cut, so vehicles can exit onto Memorial Plaza Road.
Please work with our Lot Coordinators as they help us adjust to these new developments.

Pleasantville's Memorial Plaza parking lot is FREE between 8am - 1pm. After 1pm the parking lot requires payment for any cars present. Note that ###strong on Saturdays at all times.
