Mount Pleasant 100C Bridge Closures on Tap This Summer
The Mount Pleasant stretch of roadway over the Sprain Brook Parkway will be closed June 25 to August 30.

An extensive deck replacement effort by the New York State Department of Transportation will close the Route 100C bridge in Mount Pleasant for two months, the town announced today.
According to the town notice, the Route 100C bridge's eastbound lanes over the Sprain Brook Parkway are expected to remain entirely closed between Monday, June 24 and Friday, August 30.
"Westbound traffic will be maintained," according to the town.
The announcement notes, "This area is where Blythedale Children’s Hospital and The Log Cabin Restaurant is located. Motorists will be able to go towards 9A. Traffic from 9A and Saw Mill River Road will be detoured away from bridge."
Traffic heading east will be pushed onto Route 9A north and Route 100 (Bradhurst Avenue).
"Traffic delays are anticipated," the announcement states. "Use alternate routes whenever possible."
