Multiple Car Break-Ins Reported in Briarcliff

Briarcliff Manor Police received three reports of potential larcenies on Locust Road Monday morning.

The first call was placed at 7:13 a.m., according to police. A Locust Road resident told police it appeared someone had rummaged through her vehicle, but nothing appeared missing.

A second 9:27 a.m. caller reported that sometime overnight, it appeared someone had entered a vehicle. Nothing was reported missing.

A Hemlock Road resident also reported at 10:08 a.m. that a vehicle had been entered overnight. No items were missing.

A third Locust Road caller contact police at 4:35 p.m. and stated a phone charger had been removed from her vehicle sometime in the past few days.

She told police she wasn't sure if her car was unlocked or locked at the time.

Police said that in the other cases, the vehicles were unlocked.
