Ossining Man Charged with Felony DWI in Mount Pleasant

A man allegedly driving without a license as a result of a previous DWI conviction was found to be driving while intoxicated early Saturday morning, according to New York State Police.

Mount Pleasant-based troopers received a report of a "suspicious vehicle leaving the scene of a possible accident" in the northbound lanes of the Sprain Brook Parkway, according to a press release.

Ossining's Wilmar A. Ospina was stopped and subsequently charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated after providing a .15 blood alcohol content breath sample, as well as Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, another felony.

Ospina, according to Westchester County Jail records, remains incarcerated as of Monday afternoon in lieu of $15,000 bail.

He is being charged in Town of Mount Pleasant Court, where he is due back on June 13.
