A solemn ceremony was held at in Ossining this evening for Briarcliff Manor and Ossining residents to reflect on the events of September 11, 2001. Those in attendance also paid tribute to local heroes, who risk their lives in service to others. The ceremony was titled "A Salute to America's Heroes."

Those who attended the remembrance ceremony said that the gathering is about never forgetting the events of that tragic day, 11 years ago.
