About 700 personalized rubber ducks helped the Pleasantville Swim Team raise funds during the second Duck Race at Nannahagan Park Sunday.
"Like last year, we had a variety of prizes—second place duck, last place duck, backwards duck, upside down duck, sunken duck, best-dressed duck, etc.," Steve Lord, the event's coordinator, said in an email.

This year, Kelly Martin's duck (number 110) was deemed the first place winner and she received an iPad Mini.
The event has gained popularity since its inception last year and attracted racers of all ages to cheer their ducks on Sunday.

"We had at least twice the spectators this year as last year, and will definitely be doing another one next spring," Lord added.
