Pleasantville Chamber Keeps Abreast of Local Happenings
The village's Chamber of Commerce brought together business owners last week for an outdoor meeting.
Pleasantville's Chamber of Commerce met outside Bistro 146 for its monthly meeting.
According to President Bill Flooks, it was the first time in the history of the Chamber that a meeting had been held outdoors.
Among the items mentioned at the meeting:
- Karen Cammann was recently named business person of the year.
- Trattoria 160 recently held its grand opening on Marble Avenue.
- Despite some rain in the afternoon, Pleasantville Day went off without a hitch on May 18.
- Heller's Shoes has decided to remain open for now.
- Pleasantville's annual Memorial Day parade was discussed.
- Pleasantville's annual firemen's parade is this Friday. Members of the Sandy Hook, CT FD will be joining the parade.
