Pleasantville Making Improvements To Cooley Street Between Bedford And Manville Roads
Construction is anticipated to go through Nov. 30.

Cooley Street construction is anticipated to begin on September 18, 2023 through November 30, 2023 (weather permitting). Vehicular traffic and pedestrian access within Cooley Street will be limited during construction.

Work will be permitted on weekdays from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Cooley Street will remain closed to thru traffic. The Contractor will accommodate traffic flow for emergency services, and will reasonably coordinate access to and from properties affected by the work. On-street and permit parking will be restricted during portions of the work. Road closure and parking restriction information will be posted and visible within the construction area.
The proposed Cooley Street improvements include the following: roadway re-paving, new curb, sidewalks and ADA accessible curb ramps, traffic striping and signage, decorative street lighting, drainage and water systems. These site improvements will enhance Cooley Street’s functionality as a two-way road.
