Pleasantville Police Blotter: Marijuana Arrests; Stolen Church Sign

Here's a look at some of the incidents investigated by the Pleasantville Police Department from Dec. 14 to 21, 2012:
Friday, Dec. 21
3:04 a.m. — Police stopped a vehicle on Grandview Avenue and arrested the occupants, a Pleasantville male and female, for alleged possession of marijuana.

2:19 a.m. — Police received a report of a smashed window at the former A'Mangiare location on Bedford Road. Responding officers said it appeared the damage was accidental.
Thursday, Dec. 20

8:39 a.m. — Police received a report of a stolen cell phone at the Mount Pleasant Public Library. The investigation is ongoing.
Monday, Dec. 17
6:39 p.m. — A man went into police headquarters and reported a plastic sign valued at approximately $110 had been stolen from St. John's Episcopal Church. Police filed a report of the alleged larceny.
Sunday, Dec. 16
3:21 a.m. — A police sergeant reported finding the village's dreidel damaged. Read more here.
Friday, Dec. 14
11:13 a.m. — A Columbus Avenue resident went into police headquarters and reported someone had taken an envelope from her mail slot on December 8. The woman said the envelope contained cash.
