Pleasantville: Velocity Bike Ride To End Cancer Through The Village Oct. 8

On Sunday, October 8, 2023 the Columbia Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center in Purchase New York is hosting a cycling fundraiser through parts of Westchester County. The race will begin at 8:15am at the Cancer Center in Purchase where approximately 250 riders will make their way through Pleasantville from approximately 10:00am until 3:30pm. Riders will come down Hardscrabble Road, turn left onto Pleasantville Road, take Bedford Road to Ashland Avenue to Nannahagan Road, cross over Broadway and leave the Village through Lake Street (please see map below). A rest stop will be staged in the Pleasantville Pool Parking lot. The park remains open to residents.

This event will not require the closure of local roadways, however there may be impacts to traffic between 10:00am and 3:30pm on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
